At One You Plymouth we have a variety of support to help you lose weight and gain a healthier lifestyle.
Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the ways to support our overall health and wellbeing, but it doesn’t always feel easy. One You Plymouth has a team of friendly practitioners who provide free advice and support, to local people about how to improve their diet and achieve a healthy weight.
Wellness and Weight Loss Programme
Welcome to our free 12-week, face-to-face or virtual, Wellness and Weight Loss programme.
Available for individuals aged 16 and above, who reside in Plymouth or are registered with a Plymouth GP and have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 25.5 or more (or a lower BMI of 23 and above for individuals of South Asian, Chinese and Black ethnicities).
As part of your wellness and weight loss journey, we will also look at other opportunities to support you in reaching your goals.
What to expect?
We want to help you succeed in achieving your health goals. To get started, we will invite you to a 15-minute appointment where we can calculate your BMI. Knowing your BMI helps us to identify if other programmes might provide you with additional support.
After this, we will schedule a 1-to-1 appointment with one of our friendly practitioners. During this appointment, our practitioner will explain the programme and answer any questions you may have. They will also learn more about you and your goals and what you would like to achieve.
Your goals are individual to you, whether you want to fit into a certain outfit, have more energy to play with your children or grandchildren, or simply to feel great, we are here to help you on your journey.
