Grief and Bereavement Workshop

This workshop aim to help you understand some of the processes involved with grief, seek to dispel some of the misunderstandings surrounding communicating with the bereaved and will describe some of the ways to sensitively approach conversations to establish trust.

SafeTALK courses


With things having been so different and hard over the last year or so, there is perhaps no more significant time to learn some potentially life saving skills. If someone was giving you “invitations” to talk to them about their thoughts of suicide, would you know what to do and how to help them? If not, then SafeTALK is the perfect course for you.

SafeTALK is a half-day alertness training that prepares anyone over the age of 16, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper and know how to safely have conversations around suicide.

The Livewell Southwest Academy have courses running throughout 2021 with the first one being held on Tuesday 12th January 2021.
