Grief and Bereavement Workshop

Did you know we still have spaces on our upcoming course dates? This workshop aim to help you understand some of the processes involved with grief, seek to dispel some of the misunderstandings surrounding communicating with the bereaved and will describe some of the ways to sensitively approach conversations to establish trust.

Previous attendees have described the course as “A really useful opportunity to gain more insight and reflect on grief and bereavement, as well as practical ways to offer support” and “Whilst a challenging topic, it need to be discussed! Alcohol Awareness Week

Alcohol Awareness Week 2020 will take place from the 16th to the 22nd November on the theme of Alcohol and Mental Health. In a year of extraordinary change and uncertainty, it offers us a chance to think about the ways in which we may sometimes use alcohol to help us cope when we are feeling low, anxious, stressed or worried. It also offers opportunities to highlight some of the more serious mental health problems that can go hand in hand with heavy drinking.

Wellbeing at Work Forum

Wellbeing at Work delivered their first virtual forum on Wednesday 7th October in partnership with the Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.  Plymouth Options delivered a Sleep workshop which included a meditation session and the Wellbeing Team delivered Alcohol Awareness training. 11 businesses attended the forum and since virtual meetings have become the norm in the business community Wellbeing at Work will be holding all future forums virtually.
