We have teamed up with a local vaping shop to provide e-cigarette starter kits and e-liquid to support pregnancy smokers to switch from smoking tobacco to vaping.
This is a FREE offer for Plymouth women who are pregnant and may not want to use nicotine replacement therapy to help them quit tobacco. This will be provided alongside behavioural support via phone or video calls (via Livewell Connect app)

Active Devon’s “Let’s Move” Launches
Let’s Move is a new place-based digital challenge and campaign brought to you by Active Devon. Launched on the 6th July, it will be running for seven weeks throughout the summer.
The challenge and campaign is all about celebrating Devon’s wonderful communities and all that it means to be active in our beautiful county. Let’s Move provides an opportunity for you to join and support your community while being active daily. ‘Community’ could be your town, village, borough, parish, city or even ward.
The core message is that “a little change makes a big difference”, and that amidst the challenges of lockdown, recession and climate change, there is one thing that can help us all: to move more.

Weekly Walks Updates

If not, you can update your mailing preferences to include “Walking for Health” and we will add you to our weekly walks mailing list to receive hints and tips on how to keep active safely during the current restrictions. Once restrictions are suitably eased they will also include information on a number of free walks that will be run across the city.

25th July to 9th August is National Marine Week. National Marine Week is The Wildlife Trusts’ nationwide celebration of all things marine. Despite the name, it lasts 15 fun-filled days to allow for the variation in tide times around the country. During this time, Wildlife Trusts all around the UK put on a jam-packed programme of events and activities… including inland!
